About Us

The Foreign Policy Council is an independent, non-profit think tank based in Tbilisi, Georgia. Since 2018, our mission has been to conduct high-quality, independent research and, on the basis of that research, provide innovative, practical recommendations for policymakers. We seek to promote awareness of international politics and contribute to the advancement of European integration and multilateral cooperation.

The FPC performs research and advocacy concerning topics such as social policy, political strategy, economics, the military, and culture. We produce periodical and non-periodical publications covering foreign policy and international relations. We also organize international expert seminars and conferences.

We aim to create a favorable international relations environment in which a new generation of Georgian experts can gain a deeper understanding of the importance of foreign policy and its links to domestic policy.

The main subjects of our research interest are: Western Europe, the Balkans, Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, Eastern Partnership countries, China, the Middle East, and the USA.
