Due to the fact that Russian propaganda is a global challenge and threatens the stability of the entire democratic world, it is fundamentally important to analyze this issue in detail (hereinafter to neutralize it). The Kremlin propaganda is presented with extremely dangerous and intensive forms in the Visegrád Group (the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia). Therefore the research and analysis of the Visegrád Four have a significant meaning to Georgia due to the actuality of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).
The aim of the project is to increase public awareness of Russian propaganda and identify the actors, goals and narratives that are integral parts of the Kremlin’s disinformation campaign in the Visegrád Group. In addition, the project aims at discussing the internal and foreign policy the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia for enlarging the visibility and knowledge of the V4 in Georgian society.
Within the framework of the 6-month project “Russia in the Visegrád” the researches of the Foreign Policy Council will publish 4 research works (about the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia) and 1 analytical document. Moreover, the project envisages the organization of public discussions and workshops.
